

The film made its release uncut in theaters in Australia with an MA15+ rating owing to its brutal violence, horror theme and sex scenes. The movie happens to be the first 3D film to display D-BOX motion feedback technology in particular cinemas only. At first, the crew had decided to release the movie on August 14 but later postponed the release by another 2 weeks. The Final Destination part 4 was out for the audience on August 28, 2009, in both the formats, i.e., in 3D as well as in the conventional theatre format.
